  • Syndrom of Carpal Tunnel

This is an illness of ligamentum capri volare (ligamentous stripe in the wrist area) situated on the palm side. This ligamentum, when hypertrophied, oppresses nervus medianus and causes pins and needles in finger and change of sensitivity of fingers. A neurological check-up is required before the surgery. The problem is solved by intersection of the described ligamentum - it occurs quite often, mainly with women.

Out-patient surgery carried out under local anaesthetic.
